Porcelain painted in underglaze cobalt and green enamel and reg pigment over transparent glaze. Flower and bird motif vase with scale diaper pattern in background. Decorated using the “joined” or “overlocking colours” (Chinese doucai) technique – cobalt blue under the fired glaze, followed by other colours over the glaze.
